March 2011, National School Food Drive Month
Looking for the best time to run your school food drive? We have a suggestions: March 2011, the first National School Food Drive Month. The National School Food Drive Month is part of our Good Giving philosophy. Food drives anytime are good, but food drives timed to fill pantry shelves when there’s the most need are better.
We’ll be connecting with partners and supporters to build awareness of the month— and the efforts of schools across the country. While you can run your food drive and connect with Schools Serve anytime, we encourage you to take part in this national initiative, especially if you’re running just one food drive per year.
